Since 1995 B'tutta have been performing concerts and workshops in schools to students of all ages.
In the thousands of concerts across Australia and Asia, B'tutta has honed their concert presentations to create interaction of a new level. In their current primary school show for example every audience member is involved right from the start either performing body percussion or actually playing an instrument. This level of interaction does not let up for the hour of the concert as students and B'tutta create improvisations, answer questions and take part in directed listening.
B'tutta's workshops are designed to be challenging and fun with a major emphasis again on student participation at all levels. For the musically progressed B'tutta will intrigue with polyrhythmic African concepts and for younger students there are workshops designed around stories and movement.
Constantly updating their music and ideas B'tutta have many different concerts and workshops available for your students.
Examples include a musical trip through an African Savannah with movement and performance sections for the participants.
A workshop designed to help your school band understand more about rhythm and percussion.
Workshops to build a drumming group in your school.
A concert designed solely around percussion instruments for your year 7 and 8 non elective students.
The list goes on and B'tutta is happy to craft a workshop specifically catering to your students need. Be they K to 12 or University level feel free to contact B'tutta to chat about your needs.
